Police tape blocks off the driveway of a Queenston Street home in St. Catharines, west of Hartzel Road, after two people were found dead inside Thursday morning. One person has been arrested.Â
One person is in police custody after two people were found dead in a St. Catharines home on Thursday.
Niagara Regional Police officers were called to a Queenston Street home, west of Hartzel Road near Lorne Street, at about 9 a.m., said a short media release issued on Thursday.
When they arrived at the address in a residential area of the city, officers found the bodies of an adult male and adult female, said the release.

The NRP homicide unit is leading the investigation, said the release, with the forensic services unit processing the scene.
Police have not named the person in custody and have not indicated if that person has been charged, or if the victims and person in custody were known to each other.Â
