Conor McGregor returns to the octagon on June 29 at UFC 303 to fight Michael Chandler.
The pregame narrative: ‘The Notorious’ is making headlines once again as he and Chandler will do battle at UFC 303. The two have coached against one another on The Ultimate Fighter but will now settle their rivalry head-to-head.
It’ll be nearly three years since McGregor last stepped in the octagon when he faces Chandler this upcoming June.
McGregor’s last fight came against Dustin Poirier on July 10, 2021. He lost and sufferered a broken leg in the bout, spurring his extended hiatus from fighting.
But now that Dana White has confirmed his return, fans and bettors alike can now begin to size up how he’ll perform against Chandler.
This rivalry was front and centre on the latest edition of The Ultimate Fighter, with the two going at it frequently during the 31st season of the show.
There are plenty of questions surrounding McGregor ahead of this bout. Although he’s a former two-division champion, he’s won just one fight since 2016.
The always-exciting Chandler hasn’t seen his hand raised at the end of many of his most recent bouts, either. He has just one win in his last four fights.

The two are no longer in their prime but should be able to put on a show for viewers.
