Charitable organization Eagles Nest hopes to raise $70,000 for mental health and family support services when it hosts Waterdown’s seventh annual Coldest Night of the Year walk on Feb. 24.
Charitable organization Eagles Nest hopes to raise $70,000 for mental health and family support services when it hosts Waterdown’s seventh annual Coldest Night of the Year walk at 5 p.m. on Feb. 24.
Participants must register online and can walk as individuals or in groups along their choice of two- or five-kilometre routes that begin and end at Waterdown Memorial Park, 200 Hamilton St. N.
Check-in starts at 4 p.m. in the park’s pavilion, with a light meal to be served afterwards. Walkers who raise more than $150, or $75 for those under 18, will receive a free Coldest Night of the Year toque.

The walk is open to all ages but children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult and those under 18 must have a waiver signed by a parent or guardian. No pets are allowed. For more information visit cnoy.org/location/waterdown.
