An early-morning romp in the snow ended for Sunny and Dusty when they were spotted in the parking lot of the Tim Hortons by Peter Corners.

The early-morning horse play for Sunny and Dusty came to a quick end when they made the mistake of trotting past the local Tim Hortons drive-thru window.

Const. Krista-Lee Ernst said Hamilton police were called to the Peters Corners plaza where the coffee shop is located after the two Flamborough horses were spotted frolicking in the parking lot’s freshly fallen snow at about 2:30 a.m. on Feb. 15.
