Six Nations Police seize $75K worth of cocaine

As a result, police said they seized a large quantity of cocaine with a street value of approximately $75,000, as well as money, a replica handgun, jewelry, and a cellphone.

One person, a 23-year-old Ohsweken resident, was charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking (cocaine), possession of the proceeds of crime under $5,000, and two counts of failure to comply with a release order other than to attend court.

Jamie Smith with Six Nations Police confirmed the “investigation has concluded. Therefore, there will be no more suspects charged (or) charges laid.”

The accused was remanded into custody pending a formal bail hearing.
