Niagara police release suspect image in Beamsville cannabis shop robbery

Police in a news release said a man entered the store and pulled out what was suspected to be a gun at an employee and stole an undisclosed amount of money.

He then fled northward on foot on Ontario Street. The canine unit was called in; however, the suspect was not found.

The employee was not physically injured.

Police said the man is five feet 11 inches tall.

He was last seen wearing a plain blue bandana over his chin/mouth and nose, blue jacket with an emblem on the left chest, blue jeans, black-and-white soled running shoes and black gloves. His right hand was in his front right jacket pocket, while his left hand carried a blue reusable shopping bag.
