Registration for City of Burlington summer swimming lessons, aquatic leadership courses and adult summer recreation programs opens for Burlington residents on Saturday, May 4.
According to a City of Burlington press release issued April 24, local residents can log in and register at liveandplay.burlington.ca on May 4 at 9 a.m. for a variety of adult 19+ and 55+ arts, sports, fitness, music, creative and social programs, and for swimming lessons for all ages and skill levels, and aquatic leadership courses at 11 a.m.
Non-resident registration opens May 10 for swimming lessons, aquatic leadership programs and adult programs.
Assisted registration
Residents who need help (or do not have online access) to register for programs can call 905-335-7738 for staff-assisted telephone registrations on May 4 at 9 a.m. The recreation customer service team is also available through email at liveandplay@burlington.ca. Phone and email support is available Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and weekends 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

In-person registration is available starting Monday, May 6 at Tansley Woods Community Centre, Burlington Seniors’ Centre, Haber Community Centre and other recreation customer service counters open during program times. For more information on hours and locations, visit burlington.ca/servicehours.
For those looking for assistance before registration day, there will be a free session where you bring your electronic devices and have a staff member help you navigate the registration process, so you are ready to do it on your own, on May 4.
Two sessions are available at the Burlington Seniors’ Centre: April 30, 2:30 to 4 p.m. and May 2, 9:30 to 11 a.m.

Recreation fee assistance
