Dig into fun snow-sculpting contest
News
Feb 24, 2010

The snow has begun to fly in Flamborough, and local photographer Lindsey Ryder aims to celebrate the season in style with a snow sculpture contest.

Families can get in on the fun by creating a snow sculpture of any kind – a snowman, a dinosaur, an igloo or whatever strikes the imagination, as long as it’s made out of the great packing snow that’s finally here. To enter your masterpiece, simply take a photo and email it to lindsey@ryderphoto.ca.

Each entry will be featured in an online gallery and on Ryder’s blog. Entries must include the entrant’s name, age and address.

The winning snow sculpture photo will be published in an upcoming issue of the Flamborough Review.

Deadline

Deadline for submissions is Sunday, February 28.

Top prizes for the winning snow sculpture and the runner-up include a complimentary photo session by Ryder Photography, a toy prize pack from Busy Bee Toys and Books and a Starbuck’s gift card.

The contest is for families, not just the kids, so everyone can get in on the fun – even mom and dad.
