Local favourite Restaurant Pearl Morissette fell from fourth to fifth since last year’s list — their fourth time making the top 100.

Three restaurants from the region made the annual list by magazine and website Canada’s 100 Best that honours fine-dining spots across the country.

Notably, restaurants from Niagara and Waterloo Region made the top 10 and one from Halton slid into the top 40 published by the website. Nineteen other restaurants in the GTA made the cut.
