Hortons’ Smile cookies to help Hamilton food charities
For the week of April 29 to May 5, the entire $1.50 from every Smile Cookie sold at participating local Tim Hortons will go to Hamilton Food Share and Food4Kids Hamilton.
Tim Hortons’ 28th annual Smile Cookie Campaign will give Hamilton customers the chance to satisfy their sweet tooth while raising money for two local charities that provide food to those in need.
For the week of April 29 to May 5, the entire $1.50 from every Smile Cookie sold at participating local Tim Hortons will go to Hamilton Food Share and Food4Kids Hamilton, the restaurateur announced in a news release.
Customers can also purchase boxes of 12 cookies by submitting an order form to participating outlets at least 48 hours before pickup.

The sale of the chocolate chunk cookies with pink and blue icing is part of a national campaign that supports more than 600 charities, hospitals and community programs across Canada.
Hamilton Food Share serves as the local hub for local food banks and last year distributed nearly four million pounds of food to support 23 hunger-relief programs and serve more 40,000 hot meals per month.
Food4Kids Hamilton operates a Weekends Without Hunger program in 79 schools that provides more than 70,000 packages of food to students each year.
Created in Hamilton in 1996 to help raise funds for the Hamilton Children’s Hospital in Ontario, the annual campaign has raised more than $111 million nationally since then, including a record $19.7 million last year.
