Warrior Kristin Gilmour passes the puck past Notre Dame’s Vanessa Vanderzalm at the Mohawk 4 Ice Centre. In the finals, the Warriors defeated Saltfleet 2-1. The Waterdown team is slated to compete at OFSAA later this month. Photo by Lindsey Ryder • Special 293004 Flamboro Skating Club ANOTHER GREAT SEASON: Skaters from the Flamboro Skating Club gather to celebrate another successful season. Not only did the club bring home medals from various competitions, but seven skaters achieved their gold tests. The club is proud of all of its skaters, from those in the Parent and Tot, PreCan, CanSkate to STARSkate programs. One senior, Leah Hyslop, became a Pairs skater and partners with Bob Goodwin of Woodstock. Both train out of the Cambridge Club.
