Potter Donn Zver is again on board to help the United Way, and is busy gearing up for the From the Heart: Valentine Fantasia at his studio restaurant, Café Troy. It will be the second United Way fundraising event that Zver has hosted.

From the Heart: Valentine Fantasia will be held Sunday, Feb. 7 starting at 5 p.m., with a limited number of tickets available for purchase. The event features an opening reception with wine and hors d’oeuvres in Zver’s studio, a romantic dinner prepared by Carlos, the chef at Café Troy, a silent auction, a 50/50 draw and music by Bill Piggott.  

Tickets are $85 each, with a $25 tax receipt per ticket.

“Last year, United Way funded more than 77 programs, projects, partnerships and community initiatives through more than 47 community organizations in Greater Hamilton,” noted Zver.
